LOUISE FAURE WALKER
I was born and brought up in the North Yorkshire Moors before moving to London and then to the Hertfordshire countryside.

I am an established painter having studied with Robin Child at The Lydgate Art Research Centre and with Jonathan Ellis at The London Sketch Club.

Inspired by the world around me, I use drawings to record my life . Using this material I work in my studio to create images that go beyond seeing.
I work in oils to produce works of rich luminosity, often using a palette knife to create thick waves of expressive colour.

I have exhibited for twenty years in many local exhibitions, with the Cambridge Drawing Society, and in London galleries and at The Gallery Little Bedwyn.
