Year:
Far reaching views and rapidly changing weather has made my home in The Scottish Borders a visually exciting place to be. This landscape, and that of my Highland childhood, Hebridean holidays and foreign travel has influenced my work. Having started late with watercolours, I am now using acrylics and oils to find intensity of colour, form and a sense of place. The teaching and support of Robin Child, Arthur Neal and Carol Taylor has inspired me over the years and encouraged me to develop a more abstract approach.
