1976-79 Studied French, Art and Civilisation at the Sorbonne, Paris.
1981-84 Sydney , studied Fashion and Textiles at Fashion Design School
1985 London worked for Zandra Rhodes
1987 started fashion design business
1990-1992 Diploma in Horticulture Chelsea Physic Garden

Since having a family I have done painting courses at St Martins, The Royal Academy, Robin Child, The Princes Trust Drawing School, The Chelsea School of Botanical Art

Growing up in Australia has inspired a love of colour, light ,space, pattern and nature.
There was a natural progression from earlier studies of fashion, textiles and drawing to painting.
Building layers of paint to create depth ,interweaving threads of colour to connect contemplated objects
Creating areas of space and reflective surfaces to balance pattern.
A recurring inspiration the beauty of plants and nature. Increasingly I enjoy working on a large scale
